Ilkka Harjula started playing piano at the age of five. At the age of 13 he picked up electric guitar, and soon after that he found himself playing drums in a local band. Around that time he also started studying classical guitar. Nowadays Ilkka is involved in several bands and projects, acting as a musician or recording engineer. Dark Intervals is his solo project, in which he is able to produce his own material without timetables or other restrictions. Currently Ilkka is composing new material for the forthcoming second album.   



Margit Tornio is a Finnish singer and vocal coach. She started her studies in music by playing violin at an age of six, and she started studying singing at the age of 15. She has played synthesizer and sung backing vocals in a band called Re-Pulse, and with that band she participated to Metal Battle in Wacken Open Air 2006. Currently, Margit sings in a few groups, and she has, for example, performed in Valentfoe’s EP as a visiting vocalist.
